Abiqua Drinking Gourd

This 'Tokudama' x sieboldiana hybrid comes to us from Chuck Purtymun. Slugs avoid its wonderful texture and substance, while we applaud from the sidelines. The leaves of this plant are cupped and seersuckered up to 3" deep and have a thick layer of wax (bloom) which creates a nice powder blue/gray color. White tubular flowers in midsummer.
