Glad Rags

The bold, semi-cupped leaves have a deep, irregular green center with heavy substance and a wide gold border that emerge chartreuse, turn to bright yellow, and age to creamy yellow in late summer. The narrow green central bands will often thicken through summer. Leaves are thick, corrugated, and cupped when plants are mature.
