Quasimodo

A dramatic daylily in the garden with its bold dark black red eye which is split by a white midrib on a wine red flower.  Flowers are curled and twisted with sepals often coiled like an old watch spring.  A large dramatic green throat splays out from the flower center.  Strong erect scapes with incredible branching for a spider.
