The Trophy Wife

A trophy hosta from Indiana hybridizer Bob Fox. 'The Trophy Wife' is a seedling of 'Blaze of Glory' x 'Komodo Dragon' that emerges brilliant yellow in the spring, then turns copper-gold, and ends up chartreuse by midsummer. The lightly corrugated leaves have numerous, deep veins and a generous rim of ruffles around edge. A fast grower, it quickly grows into a prize worthy, upright mound. Make sure you plant this where everyone who visits your garden will see your trophy!
